Brava Hair Studio and Day Spa is an active member in the community. We participate in local organizations by volunteering, providing gift certificates and giving our support. We also allow the use of our facility to “small, home businesses”. It is rewarding to be a part of our Community. Here are some of the organizations we are involved in locally and nationally:

2007 Fort Walton Beach & Navarre Mardi Gras Parades
 Brava Hair Studio had a float in the 2007 Okaloosa and Navarre Mardi Gras parades. We handed out over 10,000 beads combined! In Navarre we won the 1st place trophy in the Small Business category! A special thanks to Kate, Rudy, Bob and Tim- for building the award winning float. Thanks to Brenda and Shannon for loaning and moving the trailer! Thanks to Tattoo Zoo and Morgan (she came from Jacksonville for both parades!) who did all the beautiful body paint!

Girl Scouts of America - Brava donates and supports troops on the Emerald Coast. Owner Lisa Sturt, is a Girl Scout Leader of two local troops and also hosts educational spa parties for other troops in the area. 



 Historical Downtown Fort Walton Beach Merchants - Brava is an active member of the Downtown Association and part of their Marketing Team.

Northwest Florida Ballet Academie - Brava donates and supports the Northwest Florida Ballet Academie and students.
Fort Walton Beach High School - Brava donates and supports Fort Walton Beach High School events.



Choctawhatchee High School - Brava donates and supports Choctaw High School events.

American Cancer Society - Brava donates and supports the Emerald Coast/Making Strides against Breast Cancer. The photo was taken at the 2007 Breast Friend Event held at Zampieries.

 
American Business Women’s Association - Brava is an active member of the Emerald Coast Chapter and the Fort Walton Beach Chapter.  Brava donates numerous products and services to their fundraisers to help raise money for scholarships received by local students.

Thanks to the local merchants that helped make this event successful.  The merchants include: Emerald Coast Dance Sport, Gaia's Garden n' Gallery, Little Bo Feet, Hills Graphics, Buccaneer Gift Shop, Sozo Healing and Massage, Maas Coffee, Hugs and Hissy Fits, and Barefoot Weddings.





Okaloosa Walton Homeless Continuum of Care Fundraiser Brava Hair Studio is currently planning a cut-a-thon for sometime in the future. We will let you know as soon as the date is set. We will also be having a drawing for a basket to raise more funds for the local homeless.
