Candy Reeve started her own business “Eye Candy Optical”. She had just passed her 1 year anniversary and then got sick, not thinking anything of it, her husband Tim told her she needed to go to the doctor (Jan 22nd) and when she did they could not figure out what was wrong. So, they did blood work and determined that she has leukemia. They immediately admitted her into Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Two days later Jan 24th, 2008, which just so happens to be her birthday, they started her on aggressive chemotherapy treatments to fight this disease.
