As a child, Lisa had the ability to look at people and see ways to improve and enhance their natural beauty. Besides formal training in New Jersey, she has had schooling in New York City, Paris, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Lisa has had the honor of working in the top salons in New York and Houston for the past 20 years. 

“Starting out as a colorist in New York City I learned to be quick, because everyone in New York is in a huge hurry. People will pay you for being expedient.” says Lisa. And today in a more laid back environment her clients still appreciate her speed, where they can be transformed with cut and color on their lunch break. 

Lisa specializes in cuts and corrective color. She loves for all of her clients to have cuts and beautiful, natural looking color that reflects their personalities. In addition to salon work, Lisa has done hair and make-up for film, theatre, print ads, pageants, and runway. She has also traveled and taught cutting techniques in salons and on stage throughout the Midwest and East Coast.

Lisa now enjoys living with her family in Navarre; however, she regularly travels to larger cities to keep up on the latest styles and technologies.
Lisa also takes pride in making Brava Hair Studio & Day Spa a Wellness Facility. She and her staff do their best to keep the spa's environment carcinogen free! 
 
Chantel Gillilan - Spa Coordinator & Manager
Chantel‘s degree in business management makes her very proficient in making Brava run smooth and comfortably for all of our guests. She enjoys the elegant spa atmosphere and is happy to assist anyone in the retail area as well as helping you decide on the perfect services to suit your beauty needs. Her eye for style brings the most unique items from world wide markets to our boutique. She also specializes in planning wedding packages and salon events. Chantel is currently advancing her degree in business management as well as continuous classes for products and services that we offer.
Paris Sturt - Cut & Color Specialist / Makeup Artist
Having grown up in salons her whole life, Paris has deep rooted knowledge of products as well as services. She has attended classes, shows, and workshops since she was a small child- sometimes as a model, sometimes assisting her mom Lisa, and sometimes just watching. She has advanced certifications in Makeup Artistry and has done makeup for Fashion Shows, Album Covers, Runway Shows, and Weddings. Paris is a certified Pureologist ~ with advanced Pureology training in New York and Atlanta. She has recently been assistant to international "Lifetime Achievement Award" in hairdressing winner Martin Parsons. Paris loves to travel and attends large international shows as well as visiting multiple salons and spas in every city she visits (one of her favorite ways to get new ideas!).

Tara - Hair Stylist
Tara has a passion for making women look and feel their best. “I love the precision of the hair cutting and coloring techniques we use at Brava - it allows me to be more creative” says Tara on her advanced education in this profession. Clients love Tara’s bubbly personality and the way she takes her time to consult with each client!
 
Kate - Massage Therapist
Kate's massages are tailored to what the customer wants. If relaxation is the goal, a gentle Swedish massage will take away the stress of the day. If the customer has some pain issues, Kate's 5 years experience as a chiropractor's therapist helps her ease away the tight muscles and spasms. Kate has intensive studies with Brett Pace in Ashiatsu Massage. She uses incredible stretches learned in Thai Massage and foot pressure when called for, creating a very unique massage experience. 

She has taken continuing education course in Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques for Neck, Back, and Hip pain with Dr. Erik Dalton, and Medical Massage for Sciatica with Brett Pace. Some of the other continuing education classes she has taken include Thai Massage which uses some incredible stretches, and Lypossage, which is used to address cellulite on the body. 

Kate is usually not available on a walk-in basis and must be booked in advance.
